Our Story so far.. A family owned and managed vineyard in the Blackwood Valley Wine Region of Western Australia, Wild Orchid Wines are proud to be tailoring a select range of easy drinking, lifestyle wines. Our exciting wines have been created using selected small parcels of fruit from our 16 hectare Wild Orchid Vineyard, which was established in 1997. Wild Orchid Wines (WOW) is at an exciting stage in its growth with new releases from 2004 onwards. Winning Wines
Wild Orchid is pleased to say that we have been continuing our success on the Wine Show circuit. Our latest releases, the 2008 Semyillon Sauvignon Blanc and the 2008 Unwooded Chardonnay took out Bronze medals at the 2008 Blackwood Valley & West Australian Boutique Winemakers Show.
This means that 10 of the 12 Wines that Wild Orchid have produced since 2002 have now won medals. We don't make wines to win medals, however it is great to have the recognition that our range of wines are in fact of premium quality when compared against our peers.

Screw Caps
You will notice when you try our wines that they have been sealed with a Screw Cap, also known as a Stelvin. There are many benefits with this closure and as from the 2003 vintage, all our wines have been sealed with Screw Caps. Stelvins will keep your wines fresh and lively and you can eliminate the risk of spoilage and variability from the use of cork when these wines are put down for cellaring.
